Here is the Goldstream Gazette’s coverage of recent events. The coverage is fairly balanced, but misses key points. I am particularly surprised that no one in the media, to my knowledge, has ever reported that since municipalities have limits on what they may borrow that this loan will impair Langford’s ability to borrow for other projects that its citizens want. There’s also no coverage at all of the fact that Bear Mountain is getting sued (see two posts down for details), but that news may have missed the print deadline so we’ll have to see if it gets covered in next Wednesday’s edition.
