If the last two weeks are any indication, it’s gearing up to be a weird, tense spring at the Spencer interchange construction zone.

OCP showing Saturday March 8th, 2008

The following note is on Langford’s web site:

“The City of Langford is holding its third public forum for the Official Community Plan (OCP) — an Open House to discuss the draft Official Community Plan is scheduled for Saturday, March 8th, 2008, 1 pm to 5 pm, at the Royal Canadian Legion, 761 Station Avenue. Please come out to participate in the plan for Your City.”

There’s a feeling in many parts of the community that past OCPs have been made to be broken, so we not only need a good OCP but we need the political will to implement it and enforce it. Read the rest of this entry »
