It turns out that one of the stadiums ear-marked for Hull’s Field might move to Juan de Fuca Rec. It has been reported that Westshore Parks and Rec, which runs the Juan de Fuca Rec. facility, is looking to put in a similar facility to what the City of Langford had been planning for the Hull’s Field site. If this plan goes ahead at JDF, it is unknown at this time whether that would lead to an additional preservation of greenspace in Hull’s Field (where it was originally promised that 52% of the site would be preserved, but now looks to be less than that) or whether that portion of the site will be turned over to another use.
