Transportation and Public Works on Tues.

Posted by Steven Hurdle on August 10, 2008

The Transportation and Public Works Committee meeting agenda is up on City Hall’s Agendas and Minutes page (please note that agendas are removed once the meeting occurs). Here are the highlights:

    - the subdivision quarterly report will be presented (subdivision activity declined in June over previous years, though they note that they have changed how they account for a subdivision application which may have played a role in this)

    - transit grant applications for the Peatt/Phipps/Station/Meaford intersection redesign which is now in the preliminary stages of construction

    - Scafe Road parking issues (new multi-story developments in the area have been identified by Scafe Rd. residents as the primary source of constrained roadside parking)

    - an application by a trucking company for permission to turn off the highway onto Goldstream Ave at its far western end (by Langford Lake)
