For those people that also intend to file their nomination papers, I recommend that you contact City Hall prior to taking your nomination package there. When I went to submit my papers this morning, the two staff members that have the authority to accept and sign the nomination papers were out of the office. Thankfully, I very helpful staff member made some phone calls, and one of the signing authorities arrived about 10 minutes later. To ensure you do not have the same difficulty as I did, please phone to ensure they will be able to accept your nomination papers when you arrive. Also a reminder that general voting day is November 15, and there are advance voting opportunities on November 5 and 12. I encourage everyone to vote, and I hope you will support me and my campaign.
