On Tues. Oct. 14, there will be two meeting on the 3rd floor of Langford’s City Hall. The Administration and Finance Committee will meet at 4:45PM and will consider the 2007 Financial Report and the Audit Findings, as well as the monthly approval of accounts payable for September 2008. The Transportation and Public Works Committee will meet at 5:30PM and be considering “latecomer” agreements for developers.
Some highlights from the 48 page Admin. & Finance agenda include multiple mentions of the almost $1/2 million cost to the City of Langford for the purchase of Leigh Rd. homes for the Spencer Road Interchange project, on behalf of the developers who were to carry all the costs.
