The upcoming Monday night Council meeting has only a short agenda of only 88 pages. Alot of the meeting will be taken up by presentations about the 40,000th Trolley passenger, the new Goudy Library branch and City Centre Park. Interestingly, a contract expected to cost $5,800 a year, but with the possibility of costing the City of Langford more, is recommended to be awarded for the care and maintenance of the plants and water features at Mini-Golf at City Centre Park to the only company that bid on the job. Evidently Langford’s mini-golf is truly a unique experience of rare and exotically planted landscaping with multiple water features.
