Dining Out for Life is an effort to raise money for HIV/AIDS. Participating Vancouver Island restaurants will join restaurants across the continent in donating a portion of their food revenue to AIDS groups (in our case, AIDS Vancouver Island). From the Dining Out For Life (VI) website:

On Thursday, March 25, each of the restaurants listed below will contribut 25% of food proceeds to help in the fight against AIDS.
By simply having a meal out, thousands supported AIDS Vancouver Island.
