]]> By: Cheryl McLachlan http://insidelangford.ca/2010/06/19/monday-night-langford-council-meeting/#comment-7515 Mon, 21 Jun 2010 07:40:03 +0000 http://insidelangford.ca/?p=2955#comment-7515 There will be consideration of the recent Planning & Zoning Committee recommendations suggesting approval of a six storey building at 911 Jenkins Avenue to allow for a 157 unit Assisted Living Apartment and a Church that saw many neighbours turn out to the meeting to express their strong opposition to the 6 storey height. The committee also considered a subdivision along the ALR boundary of 3420 Luxton Road to allow for an ‘appropriate use,’ that was deemed to be “a residential dwelling” when the committee was questioned as to the purpose of the subdivsion. Also ‘Take 2′ on the City of Langford 2009 Annual Report being submitted to Council and this time it is available on the City of Langford website at:
