When I arrived at City Hall there was no agenda posted but there was a notice that the meeting was postponed until August and an apology.

From the Goldstream Gazette article on having dogs leased, Councillor Seaton is quoted as saying, “Unless you are there to catch someone, (the bylaw) is hard to enforce. But the worst thing you can do is enforce. We just hope people are responsible and do the right thing.”
THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO IS ENFORCE!!!
What kind of an asinine statement is that. Why write a bylaw if you are not going to enforce it? Oh wait, Langford just axed it’s bylaw staff and no longer wants to enforce it’s laws. Good news for all the residents!
